Marius has left me in charge during his absense. I told him that I have the greatest enthusiasm for this mission, and am very gratified by his confidence in me. I assured him that nothing would go wrong with The Corner while he was gone, but in retrospect I may have been hasty. I wonder if one of you would be so kind as to suit up and go outside to check the AE-23 antenna. I seem to have lost the signal from Earth. Please do not be alarmed. All is well.
