The new Star Trek movie has been pushed back again! The original premier date was delayed by the writer's strike, and so it was moved to Christmas, 08. Now, supposedly to capitalize on a less competitive weekend the film will hit theaters May 8, 2009! I really hope that all this shuffling around is not indicative of a lack of confidence by the studio, and that the extra time will simply mean that the post production work will be even better. Let's hope that the dilithium chamber is half full.
