Lots of these were required reading in school. Marius, who was your English Lit teacher? I know you've said you hadn't read a lot of the classics but I had no idea you had missed so many!

Loved ones are marked <>,
How frustrating not to be able to bold, italicize or underline in comments

To be perfectly honest, most of the unread books on that list are a relief. I do, however, find it lacking in some of the classics of which I am fond. Frankenstein, the works of Welles and Verne, Lovecraft and Poe.

I've only read a few of those (like "Catcher in the Rye", "Grapes of Wrath", you know, the "classics"), too little to even bother listing them... I went to French school so I read more French books, but since then I've also read all "Harry Potter", DaVinci Code... But I've seen a lot of the titles as movies! ;-)

Wow! I hadn't realized how many of those I'd be saying I read! Unfortunately, I only LOVED a couple of them. My favorite book, for the last 20 or so years has been constant: "Good Omens" by Neil Gaiman and Terry Pratchett. I love THAT book! For many of the more classic books listed, I've seen the movie so didn't bother with the book, which is probably a mistake. Have to go get the ones I've missed!
