Woots!

I don't know why this took so long to happen, but on a whim today I loaded City of Heroes into the 'new' laptop that Celebhith gave me. I really didn't expect it to work, but after a two hour loading and updating process, during which I went for a ten mile bike ride, it works like a charm! I just finished about three hours of play with Duke, and Targon, and Turtle. My fingers are stiff and sore, my back aches, I'm hungry and sleepy and ecstatic! I decided to make a new character, that's him above, for two reasons. Firstly I wanted to commemorate the successful testing of the Large Hadron Collider in Switzerland, and secondly I needed to start off at first level again just to get my hero-legs back. The game has changed a bit during my absence, but mostly for the better it seems. The above toon is called LargeHadronCollider, and he is eight feet tall and shoots energy beams out of his hands and eyes. It's pretty freakin' sweet!
