How Obscure Can You Get?

For some reason two random synapses fired in just the right way to make me think of one of the most obscure shows from my childhood: Korg 70000 BC. It was about a family of cavemen, but that is all I remember about it. Although I seem to remember that my brother liked it more than I did, and we used to argue about watching that versus whatever show I wanted to watch at that time.(yeah, we only had the one color tv at the time...this was prehistory afterall)

What's the most obscure show you can remember?

Hmmm.... Most obscure.... Thinking about it, several come to mind. There was "Ark II", "Sledgehammer", Starblazers, Nighthawks, Manimal, The Highwayman, Riptide....

My Favorite Doll, Julie Newmar was an android looked after by Bob Cummings (he was the only one who knew she wasn't a woman). Branded with Chuck Connors,1880's soldier wrongly court-martialed for cowardice travels the old west trying to restore his reputation.
Asro Boy, 1st japanese cartoon I remember seeing.
Oh, that show alysoun mentioned was called It's About Time

Oh, another favorite That Was The Week That Was (nick named TW3) a comedy parody of news programming (way before The Dailey Show). I believe Stan Freberg was a writer & may have also been on the show.

A cartoon about a little white Caspar looking ghost called The Schmoo, and another one about dinosaurs taking over the planet and turning everyone into zombies.

I was a weird little kid. :)

I loved Manimal! I really did (hangs head in shame). But I can beat you on all the "obscure" t.v. shows (you might want to substitute "old" for "obscure"): my two favorites were Winky Dink and Rootie Kazootie. I have a feeling they were both regional shows, not shown nationwide, because the only people who know about them always seem to be from the midwest. If you're interested (even remotely) in what these shows were about, e-mail me and I'll gladly share. Oh, and I remember a show called Masquerade Party, where celebrities dressed up in fancy dress and the panel had to guess who they were. Used to scare the pants offen me!

Celebhith, did you have the plastic screen to stick on your television for Winky Dink? My older sister did. I'm just slightly too young to have seen it myself, boy I haven't been able to say that for a loooong time!
