THIS...IS...Florida?

OK, it is January, which means it should be chilly outside, but this is ridiculous!

Of course, when it's the middle of August, and you can melt lead on the sidewalk, I'm sure I'll gaze longingly at these pics, but right now all I can say is BRRRRRRR!!!

Do people down there have the clothes to deal with this?
Also, windshield scrapers?

Stay warm!

Some of us, sort of. There is a bit of a bonus in that the cats are especially cuddly lately. :-D

You probably can't hear this. Because it's the smallest violin in the world.

Okay, I'm laughing with Jakob, but I'm also sympathetic to you in your furnace-less house. At any rate, I hope you're not still sick because this could not possibly be helping.

Fun (or NOT) coincidence: I have the CBS news on and right now they're talking about how all the citrus in Florida is freezing. I better go stock up on OJ concentrate before the prices spike.

I 'feel' for you... NOT!

Seriously, I do... sort of... that's nothing, come on!

Right there with you, Marius. They are forecasting SNOW FLURRIES for Friday night. That's just WRONG.

I understand the sympathy, or lack thereof, those of you from the northern climbs may have, but you must understand that we are just not prepared for such extended periods of cold.

No, a lot of us don't have the clothes for it. They don't sell heavy coats in the stores, sweaters are practically unheard of, and don't bother looking for a scarf...

Windshield scrapers? I once "won" one in a white elephant christmas exchange. It was quite funny to everyone else at the time. I wish now that I hadn't tossed it out...

It just dawned on me this might affect my orange juice and fruit supply. I am now concerned. For you, as well, I suppose.

Your compassion and understanding are most touching, Jakob. ;-)

Good thing Santa brought you a warm, soft blanket for Christmas! ;)

Indeed, LeeAnn, that quilt has been well used, and much appreciated. :-)

Hey, they're predicting sleet for West Palm Beach today! I'm glad we don't have this weather very often. I did buy a new jacket though. Nothing I had was really appropriate.
