Lol, my cat used to wait til I was reading a paper that was big and difficult to hold comfortably, then plonk himself in the middle of it. It's like they know....
I always leave whatever book I'm reading under the coffee table, and my cat has an uncanny knack for knowing when I want to read it because she chooses that moment to use it for a pillow. She also knows when the show I'm watching is getting to the good part because she then jumps up on the table and faces the TV, so that all I can see is her butt.
