Like the ability to walk in a mall for more than 1/2 hour, or no pain (anywhere!) for more than a couple of hours, the ability to sleep for a full 7-8 hours! Ha! That all seems like a fairy tale I read a long time ago!

Having said all that, I have found that I have, in fact, become far more appreciative of the things I DO have in my life, like amazing friends (like you), an amazing (if small) family, reasonable financial security for my future, a home I love, animals I love. . . life is beyond good, frankly. What you really have to do is stop thinking about what you USED to be able to have/do and thank the Universe for what you are now able to have/do. Want me to start the list for you?

Muah!Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-12065579.post-64591119752000920002008-01-14T15:50:00.000-05:002008-01-14T15:50:00.000-05:00Maybe it's the beer making you feel nostalgic?!Rea...Maybe it's the beer making you feel nostalgic?!

Reads like you miss time with your friends and "the butterfly season" with C - I know that feeling, and do miss it as well, but I also know that I truly enjoy the times we have now and try to appreciate them fully...

We all feel like that at some point, we miss what we once were, I think that happens when we realise that we're aging... boohoo... but... other good things come with that, or so I try to remind myself! ;-)

I also miss Buffy, Murphy Brown and the Golden Girls...stinkypawhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04418558395508830375noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-12065579.post-15715531331521861402008-01-13T04:04:00.000-05:002008-01-13T04:04:00.000-05:00Music does this to me- it mostly boils down to the...Music does this to me- it mostly boils down to the times in my 20's were I could stay out all night and still make it to work the next day. When I had a "real" job- but it consumed very little of my free time. When I had a posse of friends that became my family and possibilities were still endless.
Monkey- for whatever reason your page will not let me log into it anymore?Anonymousnoreply@blogger.com
